I’m a psychotherapist and Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) based in Vancouver, BC. I provide online counselling to adult individuals and couples (i.e., those 19-65+) across the province. As a therapist, I take a client-centered approach, valuing authenticity, trust, connection, and the creation of a space where clients feel safe, seen, supported, and empowered to grow.

I currently charge $160.00 per 50-minute individual session and $190.00 per 50-minute couples session. For clients interested in extended appointments, I also offer 80-minute individual sessions for $256.00 and 80-minute couples sessions for $304.00.
Clients are required to have a credit card on file, but are welcome to pay by either credit card or Interac e-Transfer. Please note that a credit card processing fee equal to 2.4% of the full session fee will be added to any payments made by credit card. If clients fail to pay for a session within 14 days, their credit card may be charged for the full session fee in addition to the 2.4% credit card processing fee.
Though I’m not able to offer pro bono sessions, I sometimes have capacity to provide low-cost/sliding scale sessions upon request. If cost is ever a barrier for clients, they are encouraged to reach out, as I’m always happy to discuss what options might be available.
Many extended health insurance plans/benefits providers in British Columbia cover the cost of sessions with a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC). However, it’s the client’s responsibility to confirm whether their specific plan provides this type of coverage.
I currently meet online with all clients via Jane App’s confidential and secure video conferencing platform, which is compliant with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), as well as British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA BC).
In general, any information clients share with me will be held in strict confidence. However, there are several situations in which this may not be the case. Legally, I am required and/or authorized to break confidentiality to share information about clients’ treatment with the appropriate authorities in the following circumstances:
1. If I determine that there is an imminent risk of serious physical harm to a client or another identifiable person.
2. If I have reason to believe that a child or vulnerable adult has been or is likely to be harmed (e.g., neglected or abused) or that they are otherwise in need of protection.
3. If a court of law requests notes which I have written for a client’s chart/file or for me to speak in regards to legal matters by way of subpoena, warrant, or order where keeping confidentiality would be in contravention of the law.
Additionally, if a third party (e.g., a client’s insurance company or family doctor) requests information about their counselling, I may break confidentiality to provide it, but only upon receiving the client’s explicit consent to do so beforehand.
There may also be circumstances in which it would benefit a client for me to consult with my supervisor(s) and/or professional colleague(s) about our work together. In such circumstances, I may share information about their treatment, but will refrain from including any identifying information in order to keep their identity confidential.
If you have any questions, concerns, and/or feedback about these limits of confidentiality and/or how they may apply to our work together, please don’t hesitate to reach out, as I’d be happy to discuss them with you.
I work with adult individuals and couples (i.e., those 19-65+) who vary widely in terms of their intersectional identities, backgrounds, life stories, as well as the challenges they face. For more information on the types of clients I typically work with, please see my individual counselling page and my couples counselling page.
The best way to determine whether we’ll be a good fit is to book a complimentary 15-minute consult so that we can meet and briefly get to know each other. I’m always happy to connect with potential clients, so please don’t hesitate to reach out.
